Hey everyone, I arrived in Tatamagouche on Sunday late afternoon and had supper with 5 other interns as two had yet to arrive. Thus, there are 8 of us in total and all women. 3 are from Quebec, 3 from Ontario one from Alberta and me. I am pretty sure that's the breakdown anyway.

I have posted a picture of the house we are all living in ! You can kind of see the water in the background which is really nice and actually right behind the house. We are all sharing rooms, and there are two empty double beds for visitors or whatever. We don't really use the kitchen because we get 3 meals and 3 snacks at the main centre where we are all day, so no cooking or dishes. Plus we have a group that come over once a week to clean and change the bedding, needless to say we are spoiled interns.

The food is amazing and healthy with lots of options, vegetarian and even gluten free! Breakfast is served at 8 and our training starts at 9 and goes until the evening around 7 or 8 depending on what we have to do that day.

Laura and I are rooming in the basement and the junebugs almost went through the window. There are puddles of yellow water down there too, which are apparently condensation. Anyway, its pretty cold down there at the moment, last night we slept with our sleeping bags as well as the bedding provided. We think it will get warmer....hopefully.
The house actually also has a balcony... well its a door right onto the roof of the garage, and last night we sat out there for quite a while which was fun.

Today during some of our free time we walked along the transcanada trail that is directly behind the Tatamagouche centre and along the water. It was beautiful and takes you right into town if you turn up the correct path. Than we did more training, and had a outdoor break where we were able to walk the Labyrinth which you can kind of see in the picture I posted. It begins right where the white sign is, it actually takes a half hour to walk through it.

Also there are canoes here that we can use anytime we want!! So most of us plan on taking advantage of that and the great scenery and environment here!
